Warszawski Orzech Laskowy (Warsaw Hazelnut Vodka) is an excellent Polish flavored vodka, the recipe of which was based on sweet hazelnuts. It is perfect for celebrating family occasions and meetings with friends. The specific, sweet, and at the same time intense flavor of fresh hazelnuts is due to the perfectly selected, and most importantly, only fresh, natural, carefully selected ingredients. The Warsaw Hazelnut resembles the taste and aroma of noble home liqueurs. Warszawska Orzechówka, like all Koneser flavored vodkas, is produced according to a traditional recipe. Thanks to our nutcracker aged in special conditions, we can taste alcohol that tastes like a homemade tincture with a characteristic sweet and slightly sour taste and a charming aroma of fresh nuts straight from the Polish hazel orchard. Hazelnut vodka is popular in many Eastern and Central European countries, especially in Poland, Ukraine and Belarus. Orzechówka or hazelnut has been produced in Poland for centuries. It was probably made by the Proto-Slavs, and our recipe comes from medieval folk culture. Hazelnut vodka is made by maceration of hazelnuts in spirit with added sugar, and sometimes flavored with honey and spices. The taste and color of the drink depended on the proportions of ingredients and aging time. Nut vodka has a dark brown color and a sweet, naturally nutty flavor. Therefore, nut vodka has a long history and many interesting properties. Here are a few of them:

Hazelnut vodka is rich in vitamins and minerals that come from walnuts. These nuts contain vitamin E, B6, folic acid, magnesium, iron and zinc. Nut vodka can therefore support immunity, skin and hair health, and the nervous system.
Nut vodka also has a warming and anti-inflammatory effect. It can help treat colds, coughs, sore throats and other ailments related to infections. Some even claim that nut vodka has aphrodisiac properties and improves libido.
Hazelnut vodka is easy to prepare and can be stored for a long time. To make vodka from nuts, we need only fresh or

dried hazelnuts, honey, vodka and spices to your taste. Nuts need to be crushed and pour vodka in a jar. Then add honey and spices and mix thoroughly. The jar should be closed tightly and set aside for several weeks in a dark and cool place. After this time, the drink should be filtered and poured into bottles.
Hazelnut vodka has many culinary uses and can be served in a variety of ways. It can be drunk on an empty stomach as a medicine or diluted with juice or sparkling water as a refreshing drink.
